A Sanctuary of Yoga & Wellness in Mysore
Welcome to the visual chronicle of Samyut Yoga Gurukulam, set in the serene city of Mysore, Karnataka, India—the historic birthplace of modern yoga. Through this gallery, we invite you to explore the everyday moments of transformation, dedication, and community that define our traditional 200-hour Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Courses (TTC). Our training program is carefully structured to merge the scientific precision of anatomy with the profound, mystical spiritual wisdom of Vedanta and Tantra.
Each image captured here tells a story of personal growth. You will see students engaged in the dynamic flow of Ashtanga Vinyasa, mastering the primary series under the guidance of our founder, Yogacharya Dr. Aravind Prasad. You can also glimpse our classical Hatha Yoga classes, where the focus shifts to alignment, slow breath control (pranayama), and meditative stability. From active adjustments in the yoga shala to reflective silence during evening satsang and chanting sessions, our students experience a complete immersion into the traditional yogic lifestyle.
Beyond active practice, Samyut Yoga operates in collaboration with a partner Ayurvedic wellness campus. This unique partnership ensures that students reside in a safe, medical-grade sanctuary. In our gallery, you will find glimpses of our clean residential lodgings, natural spaces, and the dining hall where doctors supervise and formulate nourishing, organic sattvic meals daily. This integrated approach helps students detoxify physically and mentally while training, ensuring they graduate not only with a globally recognized Yoga Alliance RYT-200 certificate but also with deep internal harmony, health, and happiness.
