How to Reach the Campus
Mysore is located in the southern state of Karnataka, well-connected by express highways and rail networks.
1. By Air (Flights)
Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR)
Located ~170 km from Mysore. This is the primary international gateway. Direct flights arrive daily from all major global hubs. From BLR airport, you have direct expressway connectivity to Mysore (~3.5 hours).
Mysore Mandakalli Airport (MYQ)
Located just 20 minutes from our campus. It operates domestic flights connecting to Chennai, Hyderabad, and Goa. Perfect if you can find a suitable domestic connection.
2. By Train
Mysore Junction Railway Station (MYS)
Mysore Junction is a major railway station situated in the heart of Mysore, approximately 15-20 minutes away from our campus. It enjoys super-fast train connectivity with Bangalore City Station.

Essential Guidelines for International Students
Key tips and regulations to help you prepare before boarding your flight to India.
Most foreign nationals require a valid visa to enter India. The easiest and most convenient option is the e-Tourist Visa (eTV).
e-Visa Option: Short Term Yoga Programme
When applying for the e-Tourist Visa online, you can select 'Short Term Yoga Programme' as your primary purpose. This is officially recognized and highly recommended. e-Visas are typically granted for 30 Days, 1 Year, or 5 Years with multiple entries.
⚠️ WARNING: Do Not Apply for a Student Visa
Applying for a Student Visa is not required and is highly discouraged. Student Visas require official university admission letters, which traditional yoga schools (ashrams) cannot issue. Rejections for student visas are high, and a rejection will impact your ability to apply for a tourist visa.
- Official Application Portal: Apply only through the official government portal: indianvisaonline.gov.in
- Processing Time: Apply at least 7 to 10 days before your departure. Most e-visas are processed within 3 to 4 working days.
- Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date and contain at least two blank pages.
- UK Citizens: e-Visa facilities are available for UK citizens. Always double-check current bilateral guidelines on the official portal before applying.
